Kitchen Redesign in Earlswood, Solihull

Our client wanted a space where they could entertain in the kitchen by opening up the dining area to create a social atmosphere.

We created an area with bar stools for informal dining whilst opening up the room next door for a beautiful dining area.  We replaced the old felt roof with a contemporary rubber roof membrane with a fabulous roof lantern, which poured light into the previously dark room.  Repositioning the window meant we could better place the sink giving a balance to the room.  All external brickwork was rebuilt and a steel beam was installed to allow the wall dividing the two rooms to be removed. The transformation was immediate and stunning.

The next phase was to first fix the electrics within the room and then board and plaster, ready for the floor to be levelled before fitting the luxury vinyl floor covering which is warm, durable and simply stunning.

New skirting boards were fitted throughout the room ready to start fitting the new kitchen.

Masterclass Wimbourne doors in anthracite give this kitchen a traditional feel with a clean contemporary look.  The Smeg appliances ensure this kitchen is fully equipped whatever is on the menu.

Decorating simply finished the look…
